Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Hush Imposter ("the app", "we", "our") handles information when you use the app. Hush Imposter is published by Hermes Digital (the "publisher") and is available on the Apple App Store.

We believe in collecting as little as possible. This policy is short because the app is simple: Hush Imposter does not require an account, does not ask for your name or email, and does not store any of your data on our servers — because we don't have servers.

Information we do not collect

Hush Imposter does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

• Your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal identifier
• Your contacts, photos, location, microphone, or camera data
• Your Apple ID, Game Center ID, or any account credentials
• Health, biometric, or sensitive personal data
• Your IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers) — we do not present the App Tracking Transparency prompt and do not track you across apps or websites

Information stored locally on your device

The app stores the following data only on your device using the operating system's standard storage (UserDefaults). This data never leaves your device and is removed when you uninstall the app:

• Your in-progress game snapshot (current round, players, secret word)
• Your saved player groups and lifetime stats (games played, win rate, points per player)
• Your preferences (language, haptics, weekend-reminder opt-in)

Advertising

Hush Imposter displays optional rewarded video advertisements provided by Google AdMob. The app shows two kinds of ads: (a) rewarded video ads when you tap "Unlock" on a category to access it temporarily, and (b) short interstitial ads between games on the final-ranking screen. Both can be removed by purchasing the optional Hush Imposter Pro upgrade.

Google AdMob may collect limited data to serve and measure ads, including:

• Your device type, operating system version, and IP address (used by Google to detect fraud and serve region-appropriate ads)
• An anonymous ad identifier provided by Apple's SKAdNetwork framework for ad attribution

Hush Imposter is configured to request non-personalized ads only. We do not enable Google's personalized advertising features. For details about Google's ad data practices, see the Google Ads Privacy Policy.

Local notifications

If you opt in to "Weekend reminder" in Settings, Hush Imposter schedules local notifications (delivered by your device, not sent from any server) on Saturday afternoons or Sunday lunchtimes inviting you to play. Notifications are scheduled and stored entirely on-device via the iOS UserNotifications framework. They can be turned off at any time in Settings or in the system Settings app.

Children

Hush Imposter is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages, but it is not specifically directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because Hush Imposter does not collect personal information from anyone, no special parental consent flow is required. If you believe a child has somehow provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will confirm there is nothing to delete.

Analytics

Hush Imposter does not use any third-party analytics services (no Firebase Analytics, no Mixpanel, no Amplitude, no custom event pipeline). The only network communication the app makes is to Google AdMob to load the optional rewarded ads described above.

Data sharing and selling

We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties. We do not have any data to share, because we do not collect data.

Your rights

Because Hush Imposter does not collect or store any personal data on our side, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf. To remove all locally-stored game data, simply uninstall the app from your device.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where required by law, request your renewed consent inside the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
