Lumen — Catholic Daily Prayer
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Lumen, developed by Hermes Digital ("we", "us", or "our").
By downloading or using Lumen, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree with any part, please do not use the app.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Lumen for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

Lumen offers an auto-renewing subscription that provides access to premium features (Lumen Plus):
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Free trial: A 3-day free trial is available for new subscribers. Any unused portion of the trial will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings. Canceling stops future renewals; you retain access until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods, except as required by applicable law.
You retain ownership of content you create in Lumen (prayer notes, journal entries, personal intentions). By using the app, you grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to provide the service.
All user content is stored locally on your device. We do not upload or share your personal devotional content.
You agree not to use Lumen to:
Lumen is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
The content within Lumen is provided for informational and inspirational purposes. We make no claims regarding spiritual outcomes. Biblical texts and reflections are offered to support your personal faith journey.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Hermes Digital shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Lumen, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Lumen at our discretion, without notice, if you violate these Terms.
You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device. To request deletion of any associated data, contact us at support@lumen-prayer.app.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved in the courts of Brazil, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective" date above. Continued use of Lumen after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
