Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-06-07 App: Water Eject (app.hermesdigital.watereject) Publisher: Hermes Digital

This is the privacy policy for the Water Eject iOS application. It explains, in plain language, exactly what data the app does and does not collect.

TL;DR

Water Eject does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data. There are no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no third-party trackers, no account system, no server. The app does not require an internet connection to function.

What the app stores

The app stores the following information on your device only, using Apple’s standard UserDefaults mechanism. None of it leaves your device.

Stored value Purpose
hasSeenOnboarding Skip the tutorial after you have seen it once.
haptics.enabled Remember whether you turned vibration on or off.
repeat.cycles Remember your selected auto-repeat count.
stats.cycles_run Count how many cycles you have run, to power the Stats screen.
pro.entitled A local cache of whether the Pro in-app purchase has been verified.

This data is stored in your app’s private container. It is included in your iCloud device backup if you have backups enabled, otherwise it stays on your device only. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it.

What the app does not collect

Apple App Store and in-app purchase

Purchases (the optional Water Eject Pro one-time upgrade) are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple receives the information needed to complete the transaction (your Apple ID, payment method, billing region). We never see your payment details. Apple’s own privacy policy applies to that part of the transaction: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

The app verifies your Pro entitlement by reading Apple’s StoreKit transaction history on-device. No data leaves your device during verification.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and does not collect data from anyone. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA) because we do not collect data from anyone.

Data subject rights (GDPR, CCPA)

Because we do not collect or process any personal data, there is no data to request, export, correct, or delete on our side. To remove the local on-device data, uninstall the app or use Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Water Eject → Delete App.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy we will update the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be announced in the next app update’s release notes. Continued use of the app after a change indicates acceptance.
