Angelus
Angelus collects nothing. The app makes no network requests of any kind. There is no account, no server, no analytics, and no advertising. Everything you write stays on your iPhone.
Angelus is published by Hermes Inteligência Digital Ltda. This policy explains, in plain terms, what happens to your information — which is, in almost every respect, nothing at all.
Nothing. We have no servers and the app never contacts us.
Your prayer intentions, notes, answered graces, candles, prayer history and streaks are stored on your device only. We cannot see them, and we have no way to request, recover or delete them.
If you turn on iCloud backup in the app's Settings, your notebook is copied to your own private iCloud account, so you don't lose it when you change or lose your phone.
That backup lives in Apple's private CloudKit database, which belongs to you. It is protected by your Apple Account. We cannot read it, list it, or recover it, and no other user can. You can turn it off at any time in the app's Settings or in iOS Settings › iCloud.
Angelus Plus is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase. Apple processes the payment and tells the app whether your subscription is active.
We never see your card, billing address, or Apple Account details. See Apple's Privacy Policy for how Apple handles that transaction.
Daily reminders are local notifications, scheduled by your own iPhone. There is no push server and no device token is created or sent anywhere. If you never grant notification permission, the app works exactly the same, minus the reminders.
The spoken Gospel and reflection are generated on your device by Apple's built-in speech synthesis. No audio is recorded, uploaded, or stored.
Angelus is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages. Because we collect no data at all, we collect none from children either.
Laws such as the Brazilian LGPD and the European GDPR give you rights to access, correct and delete your personal data. Since we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to hand over or erase.
To delete everything Angelus stores, delete the app from your iPhone, and turn off its iCloud backup in iOS Settings › iCloud if you enabled it.
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
